Why we built this
We've been in cannabis tech long enough to watch the same story play out. A POS company raises hundreds of millions, offers free hardware to grab market share, bets the whole business on locking operators into payment processing, then implodes when the card networks shut it down. Operators get caught in the middle — price hikes, forced migrations, systems that go down on the one day that matters most.
We built CannaPOS because we already had the data layer — CannaiQ tracks what's happening on dispensary shelves across all 53 legal markets — and operators kept asking why their POS couldn't tell them the same things. The answer was that nobody had built it that way. So we did.
